Robyn Burgess

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist currently working with school-aged children after almost 10 years working in early intervention at the BC Centre for Ability with children with very complex profiles. I am skilled at working as a multidisciplinary team member, as well as with providing parent education and coaching in a caring and passionate way. I am family-centred and focus my strategies on the individuality of each child and family. I am registered as a Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP) and trained in several evidence-based interventions for Autism, including Hanen's More Than Words and Relationship Development Inventory (RDI). This experience helped me identify the diagnostic characteristics associated with Autism and help parents navigate the complexities of this diagnosis.
